As a young girl Emily, the main owner of Groovy Quilt Co, began sewing with her grandmother Judy in Scottsville, KY. She couldn't wait until she had permission to pull her sewing box out of the closet and play with the beautiful colorful floral scraps. Throughout her young adult years she completed Quilt In A Day classes and also made a large queen size quilt in her home ec class in high school. Emily always had a passion for beautiful cotton fabrics and knew one day she would love to own a fabric shop and here we are! You can follow Emily's handmade insta @moonshadowcaravan.

Her mom, Melissa, helps with the shop by packaging your fabric and notions with care and making sure Emily doesn't order only pink fabric (lol!)

From our home studio, we've built a shop that reflects everything we love about this craft the texture and colors of a beautiful fabric bundle, the satisfaction of a perfectly matched pattern, and the joy of sharing it all with fellow quilty friends!
